* Students are required to enroll in PubHlth 399 during any quarter serving as a TA. The minimum degree requirement is 2 quarters’ worth.

**Students who have not yet taken a course in Introductory Epidemiology need to enroll in PubHlth 206A.  

Students should plan to discuss any milestone including advancement and final defense with their doctoral director and the Assistant Director of Graduate Affairs at least one-quarter prior to preparing any necessary timelines and completing paperwork. By Year 3, students’ schedules will vary depending on preparedness to advance and the need to fulfill any other coursework.
