The UCI Library System has important resources to support public health researchers.
UCI Libraries buildings, computing technology, and licensed resources are available to campus users and are available on a walk-in basis to our surrounding community. More than 177 library staff provide library services to UCI students, faculty, and staff. The UCI libraries combined holdings exceed 4 million volumes; over 1.9 million electronic books; 253,922 journals and serials; 100,814 government documents; 113,543 audio/visual materials, multimedia, maps, photographs, and other graphic materials.
The Grunigen Medical Library serves the educational, research and clinical needs of health professionals, students and researchers at the UCI Irvine Medical Center and College of Health Sciences. Housed in the Forest J. Grunigen M.D. Library and Medical Education Center at the UC Irvine Medical Center, the Grunigen Medical Library. Librarians are available to consult on data management planning and availability of research requirements that are components of many grant awards.

Books
The UCI library has made a push to increase online access to many books. A large collection is available via CABI Books.
Notably, the library’s electronic access includes nearly all books published by Oxford Press: Oxford Academic & Oxford Scholarship Online.
Journals
A searchable list of the journals that can be accessed (and years available) can be found on the main library home page, under the tab Find, and below that Journals@UCI.
Browzine provides another helpful database/interface for easily browsable versions of online journal content is available: BrowZine Access (UCI eligible access).
Video
- UCI Streaming Media: A large selection of multimedia resources, including a large selection of documentaries and short films on topics important to public health and epidemiology.

- Dedicated UCI Librarian for Systemic Review: The library can help with systematic reviews including orientation, search strategies, help with MESH terms, and database searches.
- COVIDENCE: Access to a proprietary software to facilitate systematic review, tracking, blind review, and reconciliation.
- SUMARI is also available as another similar tool, as is systematic review accelerator.
