PHIT Students Put Their Informatics Education to Use

". In this day and age, technology is all around us and is constantly improving. I wanted to take that initial step to immerse myself in the IT space, and what better way to do that than with health informatics! Tools to predict stroke risk work less well for Black patients, study finds

"The algorithm can only predict as much as the data it is fed so it is not surprising that it is not accurately predicting risk in communities of color.
