Biography
David B. Richardson, PhD, associate dean of research and professor of environmental and occupational health at the University of California, Irvine Program in Public Health, is an internationally recognized researcher and expert in occupational health. With this background, his work involves designing studies that allow researchers to explore potential occupational health hazards so employers and policymakers can construct safer working environments.
Research Interests
Some of Dr. Richarson's research interests include the health effects of occupational and environmental exposures as well as injury surveillance and development of novel methods for epidemiology.
Education
Dr. Richardson received his MSPH and Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
