Biography
Epidemiologist, statistician, and chronic disease expert Luohua Jiang, MD, PhD is a professor at Wen Public Health in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics whose research focuses on chronic disease prevention and treatment, namely for diabetes, in socially vulnerable communities.
Current Projects/Studies
Her latest work focuses on translating evidence-based diabetes prevention and management interventions into large-scale public health practice among Native American and minority populations. Jiang also provides statistical leadership and consulting to multiple federally-funded studies focusing on reducing health disparities.
Jiang holds a doctorate in biostatistics from UCLA and a medical degree from Peking University Health Science Center.
