I completed a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Utah, after which I worked for a startup company aimed at regenerating organs using bioelectricity for stem cell recruitment.  I graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2022 and did a one-year training program in southern Florida, after which I came to UC Irvine to complete my training in Occupational and Environmental Medicine. I am interested in corporate medicine and wellness and enjoys playing sports.

I graduated with a master’s from the University of Baghdad, College of Medicine, before completing General Surgery Preliminary training in California. I then went onto practice Occupational Medicine at Concentra Urgent care prior to OEM residency. I am interested in Clinical Occupational Medicine and becoming a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME).

I am an Army brat and have lived all over but consider home to be Montana. I love trying new healthy recipes, traveling, volunteering, and biking with my husband. I am interested in international outreach and Total Worker Health especially workplace mental health. I have a background as a board-certified family medicine physician and am excited to explore different opportunities in industry, government, research, and advocacy.

I am a Navy veteran and board-certified pathologist with 20+ years of experience in a variety of clinical, administrative, and research focused roles and settings. I am interested in the roles of risk management and process improvement in maintaining employee health and wellness. I enjoy crossword puzzles, photography, and exploring new restaurants.

I am a board-certified internist with prior clinical experience and currently pursuing a residency in occupational medicine. My interests include environmental exposures in the cosmetic and fashion industries, medical education and mentoring, the socioeconomics of healthcare, and health literacy. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring local coffee shops, and traveling.
