Earning a master’s degree gives new professionals a competitive edge and will allow individuals to pursue supervisory positions and career advancement opportunities that may be unattainable without an advanced degree. We currently offer four different graduate degrees: our Master of Public Health, Master of Science in Public Health, Master of Science in Environmental Health Sciences, and Master of Science in Epidemiology.
The professional component to the MPH degree includes a greater depth of methodological approaches together with a skill-based aspect across the core disciplines of public health. The MPH and MS programs in Public Health, Environmental Health Sciences and Epidemiology provide students with the skills necessary to conduct basic or applied research to address discipline-specific problems and to work in research and/or practice-based careers.
