In July 2023, the third group of alumni, since the chartering of our official UCI Public Health Alumni Chapter in 2019, began their 2-year term. In their roles, this board will connect and engage fellow alumni, give back to students through mentorship and fundraising, and serve as Ambassadors for UCI Public Health in the community, while developing their own leadership skills.
Kristina graduated in 2008 with a BS in Public Health Sciences, a BA in Public Health Policy, and a minor in Environmental Analysis and Design. She then graduated in 2012 with her MPH. She currently works at Kaiser Permanente as a Senior Project Manager.
Nandini graduated in 2015 with a BS in Public Health Sciences and a BA in Psychology. She works at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles as an Education and Training Specialist.
Karina graduated in 2022 with a BA in Public Health Policy. She worked at the UCI Basic Needs Center for over 3 years, leading her on her current path to becoming a Social Justice Lawyer.
Emily graduated in 2021 with a BA in Public Health Policy and a BA in Business Economics. She’s currently a MHA candidate at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a public health researcher at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Tami graduated with her MPH in 2023.
Nancy graduated with her BS in Public Health Sciences in 2017 and then with her MPH in 2022. She works as a Junior Specialist for the UCI School of Medicine.
Kimberly graduated in 2009 with a BS in Biological Sciences and a minor in management. She earned her MPH in 2010 and then her MD in 2014. She also completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the UCI Medical Center and her fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Stanford. She’s currently a Clinical Product Physician at Curai Health, an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCI Health, and a Faculty Physician at Long Beach VA.
Lindsay graduated in 2022 with a BS in Public Health Sciences and a BA in Public Health Policy. She’s currently pursuing her MPH with a concentration in Health Management & Policy at San Diego State University. She’s also an Environmental & Hospital Safety Intern at Huntington Health.
