UCI representation at the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) conference

A forum for the presentation and discussion of cutting-edge science in all areas of human genetics

After two years of being held as a virtual conference, the 72nd annual American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) conference reunited their global community this past October with over 7,000 attendees from 84 countries and 49 states. Of the attendees, Trina Norden-Krichmar, PhD, assistant professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and her lab members participated in the five-day conference focused on potential human genetics and genomics have on enhancing research, health, and society.

With five posters presented at the conference, Norden-Krichmar and her team, Xiaochen Liu, Tulika Kakati, Stanislav Listopad, Kevin Yuan, and Chloe Thangavelu made a huge impact on representing UCI Public Health and sharing their findings with the genetic research community.
