Tell us about your current job post UCI:
I work for AbbVie as a Medical Science Liaison in the Immunology space. In my role, I’m privileged to work with passionate healthcare professionals, both internally and externally, who strive to make an impact on the lives of patients with chronic diseases. One aspect of my role that I find particularly interesting and rewarding is being a trusted source for healthcare professionals who support clinical trials and the efforts to bring new impactful therapies to market.
Who inspires you?
I am inspired by people who enjoy leaving their comfort zone and don’t mind challenging the status quo. It’s easy, particularly in healthcare, to do things the way they’ve always been done, but there is a lot of room for innovation to help improve efficiencies and make impactful change.
What is your favorite UCI memory?
My favorite UCI place is Aldrich Park. It was always a great place to hang out, relax, eat lunch or read.
What is your favorite quote or message to current students?
“Your path will be crooked, unexpected and beautiful, which is exactly the way it should be. Don’t let any of the bends or detours change your belief in your own potential.”
