Dr. Theodore Gideonse selected as this year’s Honorary Inductee for the UCI Chapter of the Delta Omega Honorary Society

Congratulations to Dr. Theodore Gideonse, an Assistant Professor of Teaching, for being selected as this year’s Honorary Inductee for the UCI Chapter of the Delta Omega Honorary Society in recognition of his outstanding commitment to public health scholarship, teaching, and practice.

The Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health was established in 1924 to celebrate individuals whose work increases the quality of the field while protecting and advancing health for all. Members are chosen through a rigorous and selective process that looks for exceptional qualifications and meritorious distinction in the field of public health. As a skilled instructor and mentor, Dr. Gideonse exemplifies the values of Delta Omega through his vast contributions to the teaching mission of the Program in Public Health. He was also recently recognized as a UCI Celebration of Teaching Awardee for 2021.
