MD/MPH Dual Degree Program

The mission for UC Irvines dual MD/MPH program is to train a select group of medical students on the changing public health needs of California communities by providing a strategic vision of future societal health needs. By training professionals in contemporary public health practice and population-based research and strategies, the program joins the national public health movement to improve the health and life expectancy for many different populations. Environmental Health Sciences

The School of Medicine and the Program in Public Health offer a joint program in Environmental Health Sciences, culminating with the award of the master of science or doctor of philosophy degrees in one of two tracks, (1) Environmental Toxicology and Exposure Science and (2) Risk Assessment.
